Doing a work out class to try to get this little guy moving! Im thinking he wants to have a late arrival /:

My sweet girlfriend Courtney took me to get a pedicure, I told the lady to massage me good and try to induce labor.. i think she thought i was kidding or was scared to because she ended up being SOOOO GENTLE and was careful not to touch the spots that could bring on contractions.

And a little belly fashion shot for ya (:

How far along: 39 Weeks pregnant, 10 months ! (and now +1 day)

(depending on how you track your pregnancy, some women go by 9 months, but most dr's and books and online sites go by every 4 weeks you are in a new month, which puts me in my 10th month)!

Weight Gain: about 23 lbs

Stretch Marks: none

Belly Button: OUT

Wedding Rings On/Off:  On

Movement: active still! And his movements hurt! he is so big now that its uncomfortable when he moves. It feels like hes tearing up my insides throwing a party in there. lol

Feeling: Im feeling good this week. I've had false labor twice now, and boy let me tell ya, IT IS NOT FUN. It messes with your mind. You get all excited, no sleep, sit there waiting for the contractions to get more intense, and then n o t h i n g.  They were 5 mins or less apart both times and lasted hours, so that was fun (sarcasim). My husband was sick this week, yep AGAIN. We arent sure if it was the stomach flu or if he ate something and had food poisoning, so we took precautions Tues through saturday and he slept separately and we made sure not to kiss or touch and sanitized everything in the house (including our hands 500 times a day). I really didnt want to get sick with the stomach flu and go into labor throwing up on top of awful pain.  Its been several days so im hoping it passed me!
I'm so eager to meet this little boy of ours. I seriously cannot wait. I have to distract myself or i get to excited and then its hard to be patient.

Cravings: Not really craving anything aside from sweets this week.  I've had more of an appetite in the morning than anything really.

Symptoms:  The same for all the normal symptoms but definitely more pre labor symptoms (see below). Im still eating spicy foods, late at night, and big meals and havent had  a problem with heart burn yet. I have a numbness on my right upper rib under my right breast still (mostly while sitting). Getting up to go to the restroom WAY more now (some nights 5 times!).

Pre labor signs:
The Dr. Checked me this last monday (38 weeks +3 days) and i was 70% effaced still, now 1 full centimeter dilated, and baby was still at station -2.  Ive been losing more plug the last couple of days here and there. I've had cramping on and off at random times during the day (feels like menstrual cramps with a bach ache). I get braxton hicks all day long at random times.  I put labor on the back burner for a few days this week while my husband has been recuperating.. the last thing we wanted was for me to go into labor with him feeling awful and not able to be my support/coach like we've planned. Im so happy his sickness has passed! I still have the shooting pain in my hips (randomly) and have to stop what im doing and wait for it to pass. Hurts like h*ll. No no symptoms really from last week, just continuous from the previous week.

Missing: im already missing his movement in my belly (assuming that hes coming soon, it makes me a little sad that i wont get to feel him moving around anymore.. even though it hurts now! haha).

Looking Forward to: LABOR!!!!!!!!!!!! meeting our son!!!!

Sleep:  not so great. hard to get comfortable and i get up 5-6 times some nights for bathroom trips. Rolling out of bed is a chore (im like a beach whale with no ab strength).  My hips hurt, my back hurts... all the common complaints of a 10 month prego!

Exercise: still doing it, this week I did two light days of weights. Cardio every day (i think).  Ive heard cardio (walking, hiking, using machines like precore, treadmill, etc) can all help dilate you and bring the baby down. Im using this as my motivation everyday to get outside or to the gym and MOVE.  I also take advantage of my down time and rest A LOT. Im listening to my body so i dont exhaust myself, thats the last thing i want when i can go into labor any day at any moment (ill need as much strength as possible).  Its good to have the motivation to move though, because most days my brain says "oh, you are less than a week from him coming, just relax, sit and be lazy, you made it this far staying fit and healthy" but then my stronger side says "you feeel so good when you get a little activity in, you dont go as stir crazy or have cabin fever, and youre helping your body progress toward the goal..  going into labor and your little guy coming soon"..so i end up tying up my laces and getting out the door.

Count down: Full Term! He is ready as he can be! Im 6 days away from his actual due date.. praying he comes this week and i dont have to be pregnant over 40 weeks!
